Offworld Systems, LLC.
Based in Atlanta, GA, USA
Nominal is a couch co-op light-sim space game that puts one player in the merciless pilot’s seat of an alternate-history 1960's spacecraft. Other players, operating as mission control and unable to view the pilot’s screen, use the spacecraft's manual to identify failures, troubleshoot systems, and work with the pilot to return the spacecraft to a 'nominal' state before the mission (or pilot) is lost.
Nominal was a concept born out of a deep love and appreciation of space exploration, mechanical and electrical systems, and a twisted love for detailed procedures, particularly in the area of aerospace. The story was inspired by the talented crew of the Apollo 13 mission: Possible impending doom in the unforgiving void of space?" Sounds like a killer game to us!
